VitalHealth Software is in 2006 opgericht door Mayo Clinic (USA) en de Noaber Foundation (Nederland). VitalHealth heeft als doel om baanbrekende cloud-based eHealth-oplossingen te ontwikkelen voor chronische aandoeningen zoals diabetes, COPD, hartfalen, depressie, kanker en alzheimer.
Het hoofdkantoor van VitalHealth is gevestigd in Nederland en andere kantoren in Amerika, India en Duitsland. VitalHealth wordt gedreven door het maatschappelijk doel om positieve invloed te hebben op het leven van miljoenen patiënten wereldwijd.

AeHS is an active partnership with the Athena Institute of the VU University (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) and the College of Information and Communication Technologies of the University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). Research is ongoing in two areas: (1) the impact of eHealth and (2) Ubi-Care a research programme to come with innovative solutions for patients and their families to have instant access to quality health care, anywhere, anytime.
