Implementation of HMIS-EMR is often costly, time consuming and a heavy upfront investment. AfyaPro has changed that radically. Most of the preparations can be done online. It is very intuitive and a large part of the training can be done online. Before going live with the implementation, staff can further familiarize themselves through a dummy site.
Africa eHealth has developed an implementation program based on the experience of eight years of implementation. Regular research and monitoring is done to develop best practices for implementation for small and large-scale health facilities. In our implementation program we address the needs and concerns of the end-users, we provide training and set up the network and hardware – including the power supply.
